Road Trips & Weddings & Good Best Friends

At the beginning of June, Sebastian and I took a trip up to Connecticut for Sebastian's best friend's wedding. The two of us got in my little green party car & started making our way up north. We were doing pretty good until we ran out of toll money (oops), then got lost in New York City. The whole trip up, I was beeeegging Sebastian to take me to Central Park at some point during our travels, but he just wasn't fond of the idea of actually going into the big City. But as fate would have it, a few wrong turns ended us, not in Central Park, but in busy Manhattan none the less.

We got to Connecticut Thursday, the rehearsal was Friday, the wedding was Saturday, and we left Sunday. It was short, but it was a lot of fun! Sebastian was the best man and their whole group of friends made up the groomsmen. It was nice to be around everyone and get to celebrate such an exciting time in Chris & Jewel's lives.

The rehearsal & the BBQ (which that awesome sign was made by Chris' sister Amanda. Impressive, right?!) was tons of fun. And as you can tell, they played some pretty intense volleyball, too!

The wedding was really nice. The best man was really handsome. And let me tell you, I'm a huge fan of bow ties. They're just so perfect!

I looove weddings. I really enjoyed having my camera and taking pictures without the stress & responsibility of having to catch every moment. I was able to be there, hang out with friends, and pull out my camera when I wanted to capture something. It was nice. :)

Chris & Jewel are back from their honeymoon & living here until they leave for China in August. I think the plan is for them to teach English there for two years then see what the Lord's plans are for them. I know Chris has played such a huge role in Sebastian's life & I'm so thankful for the friendship they have. :)
