Life Update

Ya know, I wake up in the morning thinking, "I need to blog today." & I start doing whatever it is I do all day & when I go to sleep, I think, "I didn't blog today...again.". I mean, what's the point of having a blog if you aren't going to use it? Hm.

Well, once again, it's been almost four (FOUR!) months since my last post, and that's when you guys heard about my old man dad retiring. Not really an old man, but still. ;) Since then, too much has happened for me to remember.

In March, I found out I'll be an Aunt to three in November. Each week (kinda), Lydia and I do these baby bump pictures to track how much she's grown, and it's been a lot of fun! As far as my photography goes, I'm really praying about what direction the Lord is leading me to, and I'm getting more and more clarity that I should be in the Maternity/Birth/Newborn/First Year field of this industry. But that's a secret. ;)

On April 17th, Sebastian and I celebrated 4 years together. I love those yearly dates that come around & make you all nostalgic. Thinking about April 14, 2010 when Sebastian surprised me by coming to my church, rode with my cousin AJ and I to take a friend home, & held my hand in the back of that ugly yellow car. Then asking me to be his girl three days later in the church parking lot after a youth group game night. Coming home from the rodeo on June 19th & giving me the best hug before whispering the most perfect thing he's ever said to me, "I love you, Hannah. I really do love you.". June 7th, just a few days before he left for the Bahamas, three months after we'd started dating (three months seems like a long time to me, too. ;)), he kissed me while Mall Cop played in the background and his brother sat on the other couch. Awkward, but oh-so-perfect. Gah, I love him.

April 29th, Sebastian turned 22! I'm so, so thankful for his love. Out of everyone in the world, God let me be the one Sebastian calls every morning & kisses every night. Blessed.

In May, my parents celebrated 28 years of marriage. I've been given the best example of how a godly marriage should be, & I can't wait to be able to love my husband the way my mom loves my dad. I couldn't be more thankful for the parents God blessed me with. Again, out of everyone in the world, I got to be Chris & Anne Marie Amos' baby girl. And I wouldn't trade that for anything.

June has been a fantastically busy month, but I feel like it constitutes it's own post. And hey, two posts in one day. I may be on to something!
