That's our day, y'all. The day I'll marry the love of my life!
These past three weeks have been fantastic. We've set a date, reserved a venue, bought a dress, & yesterday, we asked our wedding party to be our wedding party.
Being engaged has been so fun. Planning your wedding is something you dream about for years & years & years, & now that it's actually happening, I'm having to slow myself down & remember to enjoy every moment. The shopping trips & late night talks with my momma have been my favorite. This is a time in my life that I want to really soak in. A time that will be over in a matter of months, but a time I'll cherish forever.
Last night, we had an engagement party where we asked our closest friends to be our bridesmaids & groomsmen. The week before last, we had some pictures taken to have around at the party. When you see them, you'll think we paid hundreds of dollars for a professional photographer, but really, my sister, Lydia, used her creative eye & did them for us. :)
Oh, & last thing: our wedding hashtag. It's been a real struggle to come up with something that is both clever & catchy. Last night, we finally settled on #hashbrownwedding2015. Yes, hash brown. Like, we had to add the '2015' part because 'hashbrownwedding' was already taken with a bunch of pictures of food. But, just so we all understand, 'hashbrownwedding2015' is for hannah & bash - hash - our last name - brown - & wedding 2015. Not the potatoes. ;)
