That's Very Nice of You

Have you ever had your wisdom teeth taken out? No? Well, you should get to that!

I had mine cut out on Wednesday. They were extremely impacted and they just had to go. I was so nervous going in, but it wasn't too bad! In fact, I might even venture to say that it was..... fun. Not just for me, but for anyone who crossed my path that day.

When they put the gas mask over my nose, I got somewhat giddy. I waited to be lifted into the light, fluffy clouds and carried all around the open sky. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. The ceiling in the room was made of old tiles with different spots on them. Those were the stars. The lights were the huge square kind that took up four tiles. Those were the referees. When the gas mask went on, the stars started playing a game {a game that's too hard to explain} and the referees would go from game to game making sure there were no fights. There was a championship going on, but everyone was nice to each other, so the referees didn't have to do much. Just move around and get paid. :)

While all of that was going on, the doctor was trying to put the IV in my hand so that they could start the anesthesia. After a failed attempt at my right hand, they moved to my left hand and got everything going. I remember the doctor saying, "We're about to make you veeeeery sleepy." Next thing I knew, they were waking me up to move to a different room.

Welcome to the life of Hannah on Meds.

My best friend brought me a bag of things including this key chain. I spent a lot time trying to figure out how she knew my middle name {Grace}. We've been best friends for ten years. Of course she knows my middle name. :)

During my recovery, everything was 'very nice'. You can kind of see that robe in the background and I thought it was a 'very nice dress.' I asked Sebastian if he would wear it on our next date and I could wear a 'very nice dress' that matched. Then we could be 'very nice' together. He said he wouldn't wear it, but after I got sad, he said he would think about wearing it - giving my medicated self hope that he would change his mind.

They didn't give us an ice pack when we left, but that was okay. I told everyone that we didn't have to worry about it because my mom was a redneck and she knew how to rig something up! My mom corrected me and said that, since she grew up in the south, she knew how to improvise. Then, with an accent, I made sure everyone knew that my mom was a southern bell, not a redneck. She took two sandwich bags filled with frozen peas and wrapped them up in a light cloth. Then, she took an old belt and fastened it around my head. Smart, right? :)

Ryder and I have the same nose. We are going to start a nose modeling business and are going to become rich and famous. If one of us is sick, the other one can go in our place and no one will be able to tell the difference. Right once I ran the plan by the baby, he smiled and laughed. He agreed and it's now a plan. Watch out, world. These Amos noses are about to blow you away.

Katie brought me lots of movies from the library. I had to explain to everyone that there is The Note and The Note Two and you are suppose to watch The Note Two after you watch The Note. If you watch The Note Two first, then you won't know what's going on, so you have to watch The Note first and then The Note Two so that you know what's going on the whole time.

My daddy got me flowers and that was 'very nice of him'.

My mom ground up everything so I could eat it. Although one of my favorite things in the world is apple sauce, it's nice to have something a little different. This right here? A Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich and Chick-Fil-A sauce. Not as good as the real thing, but not too bad, either!

I couldn't get over how well the Nowak's knew how to rhyme! I was very impressed.

I'm still quite the chipmunk.

He's very good at making me feel better.

Wednesday was a good day. I think my cheeks have finally reached their peak chipmunk point. Hopefully, they'll soon start getting back to normal!

Well, my nephew just came through the door, so I'm gonna go enjoy those chubby legs and double chins while he's still small enough for me to do so.
